By Coach Olga 11 Oct, 2021
My name is Olga Kuzhela. I was born and grew up in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I started synchronized swimming at the age of 7. My journey has been very interesting! I have always wanted and known I will be a coach one day. Because I have met a lot of wonderful, wise, caring coaches who have had a tremendous impact on me. Some of them taught me how to never give up, persevere and achieve my personal best of the best. Some of them weren’t nice to me and they taught me how to move forward anyway patiently. I am so grateful to have all those extraordinary people in my life. While I was swimming, I collected memories and thoughts about coaches. I wanted to be one of them. I have created my own style. I love kids. I teach them through love. It doesn’t matter if they become champions or not. I want them to do what they love to do, and if they love what they do, they need to work hard to achieve their own goals and dreams. Artistic swimming is a beautiful sport, on the other hand, is also hard. Now I truly can say that my dream is coming true! I am proud to announce that I am and my partners opening our own Artistic Swimming Club in Morgan Hill! We are so excited about a unique opportunity to teach this beautiful sport of synchronized swimming to our local youth. I can show our new students what artistic swimming really is! You are going to enjoy our practices! And who knows, maybe in the future we will have a national team representing our beautiful country in the World Championships or Olympic Games! Join us today! don’t miss a day! All you need is water and music!
